The 58-year-old has been undergoing speech therapy and using art as part of his recovery process

The Real Worldās Norman Korpi revealed that he suffered brain injury after a āsevere accidentā last year.
On Thursday, March 5, Korpi, who appeared on the first season of the MTV series, posted a photo of himself on Instagram while standing outside of a building for outpatient therapy. The 58-year-old said he wanted to share an update after being inactive on social media for nearly a year.
āMany people havenāt heard from me,ā he wrote. āI just wanted to reach out to let you know that in August I [had a] severe accident that left me with some brain injury and through due to a concussion and a broken nose.ā

āIāve been in speech therapies and mental recovery and itās just taking so much longer than I had anticipated,ā Korpi said. āMany things are overwhelming, but I have made a lot of progress and been working in the background on some artwork landscapes as part of my therapy.ā

āIām looking forward to my birthday coming up in a whole new year,ā he added.
