Nicole Kidman and Simon Baker’s dating rumors have resurfaced after the former revealed that they had “shared a kiss before” and even “lived in the same house.” The statements have fueled speculation about whether their relationship ever went beyond friendship. Kidman and Baker, who previously worked together in an episode of “Roar,” are now reuniting on screen. They are set to star as husband and wife in the new thriller series, “Scarpetta.”

Nicole Kidman and Simon Baker have once again sparked dating rumors after it was revealed that they had kissed before. The “Scarpetta” co-stars spoke to The Daily Telegraph about their new crime thriller series.
During the interview, the “Babygirl” actress revealed that she and Baker have known each other for a long time and that she wanted to do “something substantial” with him. Kidman, who is also the executive producer of the series, shared that she asked “The Mentalist” actor if he would work with her on the project, and he agreed. She said, “And he was at a time in his life when he could, when he could make decisions to be away from home and do things that took his fancy, and so it was kind of kismet.”

Baker and Kidman have worked together before, about which he said that even though they worked for a little while, they had a lot of fun together.
Talking about their on-screen chemistry in “Scarpetta” and sharing a kiss, he called the experience “strange.” Baker added, “I think the first time we did it, we both sort of went, ‘Okay, whatever’.” Kidman immediately responded that she didn’t think it was “weird” at all. She said, “But we’ve kissed on the cheek before. We’ve hugged a lot. We’ve lived in the same house.”
